Whilst it’s frustrating having all these engine issues when you’ve got the 100 day countdown it may be a blessing in disguise. You’re in the best place to address all the issues – get parts delivered, take it to bits – all the things you’re doing. I think your instincts to keep it are correct. You’re going to be cruising. You need to be independent and capable of repairing things yourself. If you’d bought a new engine you’d have voided the warranty the first time you wanted to have a look at what was happening with it. New boats have problems with engines – but they just do credit card maintenance. With your lifestyle that’s not an option – nor really desirable. Just keep at it. You’re doing great, the boat’s looking fantastic. It always amazes me how you just eyeball things, make something and it just looks like that was how it was meant to be. The salty winches are a great example of that. And if you’re shy of your 100 days. Don’t sweat it, we’ll still be watching. ❤️Rediviva
